    Using Advanced Settings and Recording
    Functions for Motion Pictures
You can set the luminance range for motion pictures. When you combine multiple
materials into a single motion picture, set a range that covers all materials.
    Settings: [0s255]/[16 s235]/[16 s255]
    •
This function works only for motion pictures. Still pictures (including those you take during
motion picture recording) will be taken with [0 s255].
•When [Rec Format] is set to [AVCHD] or [MP4], [0-255] in [Luminance Level] will switch to [16-255].
You can check areas that may be white saturated by displaying areas above a certain
luminance level in a zebra pattern. You can also set the minimum luminance level
(brightness) to be processed as a zebra pattern.
    •
If there are any white saturated areas, we recommend compensating the exposure towards
negative (P54) referring to the histogram (P103) and then taking the picture.
•Displayed zebra patterns will not be recorded.
