Status Displays Inside the View finder Screen
Setting the Camera ID
The camera ID can be set at the CAMERA ID page of the setting menu.
A camera ID of up to ten characters including English letters, symbols and spaces can be used.
The camera ID is recorded when the OUTPUT/AUTO KNEE switch is set to BARS and the color
bar signal is being recorded. It is also displayed on the viewfinder screen.
Note
When the setting menu is displayed, the camera ID is not displayed...

However, care should be taken as raising the gain also increases the noise. The gain value for the image amplifier is selected by the GAIN switch.
