In cases where there are multiple ways to accomplish a task, this document describes the most common procedure. For help with the Android OS, visit Google’s support website at http://support.google.com/android/. Google provides help for Android OS features and for Google apps such as Gmail, Google Keyboard, Google Plus, Google Play, Chrome, and YouTube. For help with pre-installed and third-party apps, please visit the app’s support website. Most apps include a Help button or an About button that provides a link to the app’s support website. SHIELD Tablet K1 Overview The SHIELD tablet K1 box includes one SHIELD tablet K1 and a Safety Guide. To support and charge your Tablet, you need to purchase a micro-USB-to-USB cable and an AC adapter if you want to charge your tablet by plugging it into a wall outlet. A SHIELD World Charger is available for purchase. Additional optional accessories include the SHIELD tablet K1 cover, wireless SHIELD Controller, and a Stylus. . SHIELD Tablet Front View

However, if the battery level is low or empty, we recommend that you charge your device for two hours before you begin the setup process. Your SHIELD tablet K1 does not include a charger and cable. You need a micro-USB-to-USB cable with an AC adapter. An NVIDIA World Charger Is available for purchase. How to Charge Your SHIELD Device 1. Plug the micro-USB end of a micro-USB-to-USB cable into the micro-USB port of the SHIELD tablet K1 . 2. Plug the standard USB end of the USB cable into a USB power source, such as an AC adapter or a USB port on a computer. NOTE You can use the SHIELD tablet K1 while the device is plugged into your computer or other power source. However, when the device is in use, the charging time is extended.
