3 2. Battery installation and charging Before you can use your new phone, you need to attach and charge the battery. Attaching the battery To attach the battery, place it on the back of the phone as shown and slide it toward the top of the phone until it clicks into place. Battery charging Your phone is powered by a rechargeable NiMH or Li-Ion battery. 4 When is charging complete? When the charge indicators stop scrolling, your phone is considered fully charged. However, a slight increase in charge may occur if you leave your phone connected to the charger. When is a good time to charge? You can charge anytime, but remember that when your phone displays Battery low, you only have a couple of minutes of talk time left. Can I make calls while charging?
