37 Deleting Unwanted Photographs To delete the photograph currently displayed in the monitor, press the O button. Note that photographs can not be recovered once deleted. 1Display the photograph. 38 Movies can be recorded in live view mode. 1Press the a button. The view through the lens will be displayed in the monitor. 2Ready the camera. 39 4Start recording. Press the movie-record button to start recording. A recording indicator and the time available are displayed in the monitor. 5End recording. Press the movie-record button again to end recording. Recording will end automatically when the maximum length is reached, the memory card is full, or another mode is selected. 41 DRecording Movies Flicker, banding, or distortion may be visible in the monitor and in the final movie under fluorescent, mercury vapor, or sodium lamps or with subjects that are in motion, part icularly if the camera is panned horizontally or an object moves horizontally at high speed through frame (flicker and banding can be reduced using Flicker reduction; 0 71).
