This chapter describes how to access and configure a USB storage device attached to your DST 
router. The USB port on the DST router can be used only to connect USB storage devices like 
flash drives or hard drives, or a printer. Do not connect computers, USB modems, CD drives, or 
DVD drives to the DST router USB port.

Connect a USB Device to the DST Router
To connect a USB storage device to the DST router:
1. Insert your USB storage device into a USB port on the DST router.
The blue, USB 3.0 port on the front of the router performs faster than the USB 2.0 port on 
the rear panel of the DST router.

When you connect the USB storage device to the router’s USB port, it might take up to 
two minutes before it is ready for sharing. By default, the USB storage device is available 
to all computers on your local area network (LAN).

1. Physically connect the USB hard drive to your Mac.

search for Disk Utility.
