    Enables you to adjust the brightness of the lamp.
    Items to select
    ¥ Normal ---------------- Normally select this mode.
    ¥ High Bright ----------- Select this mode to increase the brightness
    of the lamp.
    NOTE: The High Bright mode shortens the lamp life. Be sure to use
    this mode at temperature 95° F (35° C) or less.

    Set Option
     Passcode
    n Entering Passcode
    To prevent any unauthorized operation or mis-adjustment, the
    projector is equipped with a passcode option. If your passcode has
    not been entered correctly, the ÒAdjustmentÓ  menu will not be
    displayed. When the ADJUST button is pressed, and no passcode has
    been entered, the ÒPasscode?Ó screen is displayed. Enter your
    passcode.
    To do this, proceed as follows:
    1Press the ADJUST button.
    ¥  The ÒPasscode?Ó screen is displayed.
    2Enter the four digit passcode you have already registered by
    using the Ò1Ó through Ò10Ó buttons.
    1) Each time you press the INPUT button, an asterisk appears
    under the ÒPasscode?Ó message.
    2) After you have finished entering the four digit passcode, press
    ENTER.
    NOTE: If you have made an error, press the NORMAL button to
    delete the asterisk Ò*Ó. Then re-enter the correct passcode. To
    delete all the entered digits, hold down the CTL button then
    press the NORMAL button.
    3) If the entered passcode is correct, the ÒADJUSTÓ menu is
    displayed.
    NOTE: If the passcode is not correct, the ÒWarning Different
    Passcode!!Ó message is displayed and you are required to enter
    the correct passcode.
    3Proceed to each adjustment and setting.

    n Registering Passcode
    When the projector is shipped from the factory, no passcode is
    registered. If you want to use the passcode option, you must register
    a passcode.
    To register a new passcode, proceed as follows:
    1Press the ADJUST button.
    ¥ The ÒAdjustmentÓ menu will be displayed.
    2Use the CURSOR 
    or button to highlight the Ò8.Set OptionÓ
    menu. Press ENTER to display the Set Option menu.
    3Use the CURSOR 
    or button to highlight the Ò1.PasscodeÓ
    line. Press ENTER to display the ÒPasscode SettingÓ menu.
    4Use the CURSOR 
    or button to select ÒEntryÓ. Press
    ENTER to display the ÒNew Passcode?Ó menu.
    5Enter a four digit passcode using the Ò1Ó through Ò10Ó buttons.
    1) Each time you press the INPUT button, an asterisk will appear
    next to the ÒNew Passcode?Ó message.
    NOTE: Ò0000Ó and Ò9999Ó cannot be used as a passcode.
    2) Once you have finished entering your four digit passcode,
    press ENTER to store the code.
    NOTE: If you have made an error, press the NORMAL button
    to delete the asterisk Ò[Ó. Then re-enter the correct passcode.
    To delete all the entered digits, hold down the CTL button
    then press the NORMAL button.
    3) If the passcode has been entered correctly, the ÒConfirm New
    Passcode?Ó menu will be displayed.
    NOTE: If the passcode is not entered correctly, the ÒWarning
    Passcode!!Ó message will be displayed. You will be required
    to enter the passcode correctly.

    6Enter the new passcode again.
    1) Each time you press the INPUT button, an asterisk will appear
    next to the ÒConfirm New Passcode?Ó message.
    2) Once you have finished entering the new four digit passcode,
    press ENTER.
    NOTE: If you have made an error, press the NORMAL button
    to delete the asterisk Ò*Ó. Then re-enter the correct passcode.
    To delete all the entered digits, hold down the CTL button
    then press the NORMAL button.
    3) If the entered passcode is correct, the ÒChange Passcode
    Complete!!Ó message will be displayed.
    NOTE: If the passcode is not correct, the ÒWarning Different
    Passcode!!Ómessage will be displayed. You are required to
    enter the new passcode correctly.
    The new passcode has been registered.

    n Changing Your Passcode
    To change your passcode, proceed as follows:
    1Press the ADJUST button.
    ¥ The ÒPasscode?Ó screen will be displayed.
    2Enter the four digit current passcode using the Ò1Ó through Ò10Ó
    buttons. Press ENTER.
    ¥ The ÒAdjustmentÓ menu will be displayed.
    3Use the CURSOR 
    or button to highlight the Ò8. Set
    OptionÓ menu. Press ENTER to display the ÒSet OptionÓ menu.
    4Use the CURSOR 
    or button to select Ò1. PasscodeÓ. Press
    ENTER to display the ÒPasscode SettingÓ menu.
    5Use the CURSOR 
    or button to select ÒEntryÓ.
    PressENTER to display the ÒCurrent Passcode?Ó menu.
    6Enter the four digit passcode (the current passcode) using the Ò1Ó
    through Ò10Ó buttons.
    1) Each time you press the INPUT button, an asterisk will
    appear next to the ÒCurrent Passcode?Ó message.
    2) Once you have finished entering the four digit passcode, press
    ENTER.
    NOTE: If you have made an error, press the NORMAL button
    todelete the asterisk Ò*Ó. Then re-enter the correct passcode.
    To delete all the entered digits, hold down the CTL button
    then press the NORMAL button.
    3) If the entered passcode is correct, the ÒNew Passcode?Ó
    screen will be displayed.
    NOTE: If the passcode is not correct, the ÒWarning
    Different Passcode!!Ó message is displayed. You will be
    required to enter the correct current passcode.

    3) If the passcode has been entered correctly, the ÒConfirm New

    Different Passcode!!Ó message will be displayed. You are
    required to enter the new passcode correctly.
    8Enter the new passcode again using the Ò1Ó through Ò10Ó buttons.
    1) Each time you press the INPUT button, an asterisk will appear
    under the ÒConfirm New Passcode?Ó message.
    2) Once you have finished entering the four digit new passcode,
    press ENTER.
    NOTE: If you have made an error, press the NORMAL button
    to delete the asterisk Ò*Ó. Then re-enter the correct passcode.
    To delete all the entered digits, hold down the CTL button
    then press the NORMAL button.
    3) If the entered passcode is correct, the ÒChange Passcode
    Complete!!Ó message is displayed.
    NOTE: If the passcode is not entered correctly, the ÒWarning
    Different Passcode!!Ó message is displayed. You will be
    required to enter the new passcode correctly.
    The passcode has been changed to another.

    To cancel the passcode, proceed as follows:
    1Press the ADJUST button and then enter your passcode.
    ¥ The ÒPasscode?Ó screen will be displayed.
    2Enter the four digit current passcode using the Ò1Ó through Ò10Ó
    buttons and then press ENTER.
    ¥ The ÒAdjustmentÓ menu will be displayed.
    3Use the CURSOR 
    or button to highlight Ò8. Set OptionÓ.
    Press the ENTER button to display the ÒSet OptionÓ menu.
    4Use the CURSOR 
    or button to highlight Ò1. PasscodeÓ
    line. Press ENTER to display the ÒPasscode SettingÓ menu.
    5Use the CURSOR 
    or button to select ÒDisableÓ. Press
    ENTER to display the ÒPasscode Disable?Ó menu.  Select ÒYesÓ
    and press ENTER.
    ¥ The ÒCurrent PasscodeÓ screen will be displayed.
    6Enter the four digit passcode (the current passcode) using the Ò1Ó
    through Ò10Ó buttons.
    1) Each time you press the INPUT button, an asterisk will appear
    next to the ÒCurrent Passcode?Ó message.
    2) Once you have finished entering the four digit passcode, press
    ENTER.
    NOTE: If you have made an error, press the NORMAL button
    to delete the asterisk Ò*Ó. Then re-enter the correct passcode.
    To delete all the entered digits, hold down the CTL button
    then press the NORMAL button.
    3) If the entered passcode is correct, the ÒPasscode Disable?Ó
    menu will be displayed.
    NOTE: If the passcode is not correct, the ÒWarning Different
    Passcode!!Ó message will be displayed. You will be required
    to enter your correct passcode.

    or button to select Yes and then press
    ENTER.

    ¥ Yes ---------------- When selecting ÒYesÓ, the current passcode
    will be canceled. You will not be required to
    re-enter your passcode when you press the
    ADJUST button to re-enter the ADJUST
    mode.
    ¥ No ----------------- When selecting ÒNoÓ, the current passcode
    will remain in effect.
    Your passcode has been cancelled.

    Enables you to set various items.
    To do, follow the steps below.
    1. Press the ADJUST button to display the Adjustment menu.
    2. Use the CURSOR 
    or button to select Ò8. Set OptionÓ menu.
    Press ENTER.
    3. Use the CURSOR 
    or button to select Ò2. Setting ModeÓ
    menu. Press ENTER.
    Proceed to the following steps.
    n PJ Orientation
    This feature allows you to set the installation type according to the
    projection configuration.
    1Use the CURSOR
    orbutton to select the ÒPJ ORIENTA-
    TIONÓ item, then press ENTER to display the ÒPJ ORIENTA-
    TIONÓ menu.

    You can set the projector to default to any one of its inputs each time
    the projector is turned on.
    Proceed as follows:
    1Use the CURSOR
    orbutton to select the ÒDefault Source
    SelectÓ item, then press ENTER to display the ÒDefault Source
    SelectÓ menu.
    2Use the CURSOR
    orbutton to select either ÒDefaultÓ or
    ÒLastÓ and press ENTER.
    ¥ Selecting ÒLASTÓ completes setting.
    ¥ Selecting ÒDEFAULTÓ displays the ÒDefault inputÓ screen.
    Items to select
    ¥ DEFAULT . Displays the same source input every time the
    projector is started up.
    ¥ LAST ....... Sets the projector to default to the previous last
    active input each time the projector is turned on.
    Note: An input must be active for a minimum of 10
    minutes before it is recognized as the last active
    signal.
