Chapter 7 POWER UP SELF-TEST 1.0 Error Codes Turning on the radio starts a self-test routine that checks the radio functionality. If the checks are successful, the radio generates two high-pitched self-test pass tones, or a musical tone (selected in CPS). If the self-test is not successful, one low-pitched tone is heard.
