CUSTOMER PROGRAMMING SOFTWARE (CPS)
INSTALLATION
1.0 CPS Installation Instructions for Windows 98/NT/2000/ME/XP
Please read the instructions below before proceeding to the on-line installation package for the 
CPS. Also be sure to read carefully all on-screen instructions during the installation.
The latest CPS can be located and downloaded from Motorola Online at 
http://moleurope.comm.mot.com. The CPS can be located at Resource Centre/Radio Service 
Software/Customer Programming Software/Commercial Series CPS [ver-#] - (for CM100 Series 
MDC Radios) 
orCommercial Series 5-Tone CPS [ver-#] - (for CM300 Series 5-Tone radios).
1.1 System Installation Requirements
1.2 Installation Procedure
1.Please ensure that you have successfully downloaded the Customer Programming
Softwareand the files have been unzipped into a folder.
2.Exit all programs that are currently running.
3.Locate the setup.exe file and double click.
4.The setup package will install the CPS. Please follow the on-line installation instructions.
Congratulations! You have completed the installation of the Customer Programming Software.
1.3 Starting the Application
To start the Customer Programming Software
1.Click on the Startbutton.
2.Select Programs ->Commercial Series 5-Tone CPS ->R01.08.00(for 5-Tone Radios)
or
3.Select Programs ->Motorola ->Commercial Series CPS ->CPS(for MDC Radios) Minimum Suggested

TUNER INSTALLATION
1.0 Tuner Installation Instructions for Windows 98/NT/2000/ME/XP
Please read the instructions below before proceeding to the on-line installation package for the 
Tuner Software. Also be sure to read carefully all on-screen instructions during the installation.
The latest Tuner Software can be located and downloaded from Motorola Online at 
http://moleurope.comm.mot.com. The Tuner Software can be located at Resource Centre/Radio 
Service Software/Customer Programming Software/Tuning Software for all Professional & 
Commercial Series Radios (ver-#).
