With the new-generation liquid crystal C2FINETM* onboard, the expression of
    high-definition source visual information (1920
X 1080 dots) is no holds barred.
Our newly perfected high-difinition compatible lens,
teamed up with other sophisticated optical engines,
reproduces high-definition images with astonishing clarity and detail.

The C2FINETM new-generation panel, with inorganic orientation film and
normally black. With high contrast through normally black, and inorganic
orientation film requiring no lubbing process, definition is clear as a bell a\

life of organic orientation film, the lack of degradation ensures enjoyment
of high-quality images over the long run.

A dopted for the opticals is a 14-group/17-lens system, including ED
(extra-low dispersion) glass lens higher in cost and performance than
conventional glass lenses. Chromatic aberration is cut to the limit, forging
major resolution improvements all the way to peripheral areas.
Complete with ED (extra-low dispersion) glass lens,
showcasing high-definition resolution in all its glory.
T he auto-iris function automatically controls the level of light projection,
t uned to the specific lights and darks in the picture being screened. To
complement the conventional detection from brightness data, Mitsubishi
has added its original color information recognition feature. The result is
vivid color reproduction, even with dark scenes.
With the Mitsubishi original auto-iris in place,
high contrast soars to a maximum of 10,000:1.
    W ith the Type 100 size (
    1 6:9 )
, projection distance ranges from 3.1 to 5
meters. This ensures enjoyment of dynamic, big-screen images, even in
other settings with limited distance to the screen. Further enhanced with
an outstanding lens shift feature, expanding lens movement 75% up and
down, and 5% right and left, for major improvements in installation ease.
All-direction motor-drive lens shift, greatly enhances set-up ease.
    1 .6-power short-focus motor-drive zoom/focus.
When no voltage is applied, the liquid crystal
molecules line up vertically on the glass
substrate. This purges the type of light leakage
found in the conventional system, projecting
handsome black shades on the screen.
    C2FINETM (normally black)
Even with voltage applied, liquid crystal
molecules refuse to fall into vertical line on
t he glass substrate, and light leakage occurs.

    artificial looking appearance and bugs

    unnecessary noise processing on
moving pixels, it is possible to
    reproduce the high-definition details.

    D VD package software, satellite
    broadcasting, cable broadcasts and

T his high-quality chip carries on the legacy of the REALTA produced by
the Silicon Optics Company, renowned for visual performance christened
HQV (Hollywood Quality Video). It excels behind the scenes as the
genuine core of fine visual expression.
    Reon-VX next-generation high-performance processor.
1 0bit signal processing - the ideal level and identical to broadcast-use
masters. Gradation grows richer and colors more numerous than
general 8bit types, setting a new standard in reproduction expression.

W eve revamped the cooling structure, and mounted a new whisper-
quiet fan. The result is hushed 19dBA operation, rewriting the textbook
    on projector noise.
Quietest Fan in its Class, at 19dBA* (
    at low mode )
Engineered with a screen trigger designed to link the projector power switch
and motor-driven screen up-down movements. Detailed in the pursuit of
user-friendliness, and the ability to start the show at a fingers touch.

    The lamp boasts a 5,000-hour
service life (at the low mode), and
can be accessed from the side.
Since the lamp unit may be removed
from the side of the projector,
    replacement is possible without
    moving a projector suspended from
the ceiling or resting on a shelf.
Long lamp life, up to 5,000 hours
Simple to combine with DVD players or other digital equipment. Savor the
move to full digital transmissions, for visual pleasures free of picture
degradation from AD/DA conversion. Targets needs up to 1080p signals.
    HDMI terminal
W ith the illuminating remote control, the button portion lights up for easy
operation even in darkened rooms. The picture can also be tuned directly by
    remote control, another convenient touch.
    Illuminating remote control unit
W ith the addition of a new function to measure noise and movement
by pixel units, analog noise and image compression noise, two
elements that damage DVD package software and broadcast content
picture quality, are detected and reduced. Moreover, acting as a fully
automatic adaptive type (pixel unit) software algorithm, the original
images are faithfully reproduced. HQV noise reduction may be broken
    down into TRNR and MNR/BAR.
HQV noise reduction for crystal clear image reproduction.
P roper compensation for color data compressed at the production of
D VD package software. Faithful reproduction of high-definition images,
all the way to the contours, without color blur or loss.
    Reduced croma upsampling errors.
    W ith 10bit operation processing, I/P (interlace/progressive) conversion is
rendered extremely accurate. Even with video-film mixed sources, the
specific materials are detected and processed with top speed and
precision. This ensures progressive reproduction of high picture quality over
a wide range of package software. For broadcasts of terrestrial or BS digital
movies, 2-3 pulldown zaps most jaggies from the screen. And see video-
recorded sources converted into meticulous images with high-precision
3D processing. Also compatible with the 24P next-generation disc.
High-precision I/P conversion, serving all sources.
In addition to I/P conversion, the Reon-VX also packs high-precision scaling
processing (pixel conversion) capabilities into a single chip. The result is
    conversion of 720
    X 480 DVD package software up to 1920 X 1 080. At
such times, a unique filter ring, enabling adaptive switches to a combined
total of 1,024 filter tabs both vertically and horizontally, helps realize high-
quality picture reproduction via stellar-precision image processing.
Dual function as a high-performance video scaler.
