Screen Saver
When on, displays a randomly moving Mitsubishi logo 
after one minute without activity or a video signal.  The 
logo reminds you that the TV is still on.  Press

choose either On or Off.
Timer
The Timer tells the TV to power on automatically at a 
time you set.  Use this menu to set a day, time, input, and 
channel for the Timer.  If the TV is already on at the set

Use the TV’s channel menus to:
Save a list of favorite channels (see   ).
Define the source for the antenna input 
Perform a channel scan

Additive Scan
The additive scan adds only new channels.  Unlike the 
full channel scan, custom channel settings are pre-
served.
Highlight 1. Additive Scan and press ENTER to select 
either ON or OFF.

received on the ANT and composite VIDEO jacks.

Block access to the channels you specify.
Highlight the control box next to the channel

tridge housing.  Keep lamp cartridge horizontal during removal.  Do

Lamp-Cartridge Replacement
Removing the Old Lamp Cartridge
Turn off TV power and unplug the TV.  Allow the

lamp to cool for at least one hour before proceed-
ing.
After the lamp has cooled, remove the cover of the

  Cl eaning Recommendations
Normally, light dusting with a dry, non-scratching duster 
will keep your TV clean.  If cleaning beyond this is 
needed, please use the following guidelines:
First, turn off the TV and unplug the power cord from 
the power outlet.
Exterior
Occasionally clean dust and debris build-up from the 
air-intake grilles on the back and sides of the TV.  Clean 
using a vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment.
