Adjusting the dryers electronics for very soft water Extremely soft water can affect the sensitivity of the control electronics. Important If the dryer is installed in an area with very soft water, you should contact your local water supplier for information and advice regarding water hardness and water conductivity. If the water conductivity is less than 150 µS, the following programmable function will need to be activated. This programmable function should not be activated if, despite the water being extremely soft (as would be the case if a water softener were used), its conductivity is greater than 150 µS. Otherwise, the drying result will not be satisfactory. Follow steps ( ,,...) to programme and store in memory. Before you begin, first ensure that: – The dryer is switched off. – The door is closed. Press theStart/Stopbutton and keep it pressed in whilst carrying out steps -. Switch the dryer on. Wait until the indicator light for theStart/Stopbutton lights up constantly.... . . and then release theStart/Stop button. Press theLow temperaturebutton ten times. –The indicator lightLow temperature will flash on and off slowly once and will then flash on and off quickly twice. The option selected will be displayed by anumberwhich will alternate with P. 0Default setting IAdjusted for very soft water(with low conductivity) (TheAutomatic plusindicator light will also flash.) Extending the drying level range You can extend the range of the drying levels for many of the programmes: Machine iron plus (drier than Machine iron). Slightly dry (drier than Hand iron). Normal plus (drier than Normal). You can use this programming function only for programmes which allow you to select the drying levels. Follow steps ( ,,...) to programme and store in memory.
