1.Antenna connector: With BNC connector type. A mobile or base station antenna (adapter required) can be used to extend range. 2.“Squelch” Control: For the maximum receiver sensitivity, the control must be adjusted exactly where the receiver background noise disappears. 3.ON/OFF Volume Control. To program memory channel 2 follow the instructions for programming memory channel 1, except substituting channel 2 for channel 1. c. “M3 SC Button”; To start scan, set the squelch to mute the background noise. Press and release the “SC” scan button, scan will begin. The scan will stop on all channels where a signal is received with enough strength to open the squelch.
