1.Turnoffthepowerfortheprojector,thecomputerandvideoplayer.
Damagemayresultifyoutrytomakeaconnectionwhenthepoweris
switchedon.
2.Checktheconnectortypes.Damagemayresultifyouattempttoinserta
connectorintotheincorrectport.
3.ConnectaD-Sub15pinVGAcablefromthecomputersVGAoutputto
theprojectorsVGAinputterminal.
4.Makesurethatalltheterminalsarewellconnectedbeforeturningonthe
projectorandthecomputer.

Basicoperation
Turningontheprojector
Whentheprojectorreceivesmainspower,itwillgointostandbymodeand
theindicatorlightwillbered.
Pressthepower()buttonontheprojectorcaseorontheremotecontrol.
Thefanswillstartupandtheindicatorlightwillbeyellow.
Whentheindicatorlightturnsgreen,theprojectorisreadyforuse.

Note:Whenusingtheremotecontrol,makesureitisdirectlyaimedattheIR
onthefrontoftheprojectorcase(seepage7).

Pressthepower()buttononce.Theindicatorlightwillflashingreen....

Correctingdistortion
Theverticaldistortionofaprojectedimageonthescreencanbecorrectedby
thekeystonecorrectionfunction.Movingthekeystonecorrectionknobonthe
sideoftheprojectorcase(seepage7)untiltheimageframebecomes
square.

Notes:Theverticalkeystoneanglecanbecorrectedbetween±15degrees.
Thekeystonecorrectionfunctioncancauseanimagetobeslightly
blurred.
Youcanonlycorrectverticaldistortionwiththisfunction.Horizontal
distortioncannotbecorrected.

displaytheOSDmenu.
•Selectthemenuitemusingthebuttons.
•Pressthebuttontomovetotheright-handsubmenu.

•Usethebuttonstoadjusttheparametervalues.

Afteryourlamphasbeenoperatingfor6000~9000hours,thebrightnesswill
becomeweakandtheimagequalitywilldeteriorate.
Atthispointyoushouldreplacethelamptomaintainoptimalperformance.
