14 1. Select a good location.Place your fridge-freezer where it is easy to use. 2. Avoid placing the unit near heat sources, direct sunlight or moisture. 3. To ensure proper air circulation around the fridge -freezer, please maintain sufficient space on both the sides as well as top and maintain at least 2 inches (5cm) from the rear wall. 4.Secure the unit to the wall to prevent accidental tip-over. 5. To avoid vibration, the unit must be leveled. If required, adjust the leveling screws to compensate for the uneven floor. The front should be slightly higher than the rear to aid in door closing. Leveling screws can be turned easily by tipping the cabinet slightly.Turn the leveling screws counterclockwise ( ) to lower the unit, clockwise( ) to raise it. 6. In case the doors incline downwards after the refrigerator is installed and foods are placed, adjust the parallelism of the doors as illustrated 4 – 5 days after the installation. Before adjusting the adjustable feet, open the bottom freezer compartment drawer. 7. Clean your fridge-freezer thoroughly and wipe off all dust accumulated during shipping. 8. 17 Function Refrigerator “ECO” Super Freezer In order to save electricity when no food needs to be stored in the refr\ igerator compartment, you can select the Refrigerator ECO function, that is, to t\ urn off the refrigerator compartment. To put the multi-use compartment in the stop state, press “ ”\ repeatedly until “ECO” lights up. Set super freezing: press “ ” key. The panel will display “\ -26¥” and “SUPER” indicating it is in the super freezing state. Cancel super freezing: press “ ” key. The panel displays a temperature other than “-26¥” indicating it is not in the super freezing state any more. When the super freezing time is reached, it exits the super freezing state automatically and restores the set freezing temperature of “-21¥”. Please select this function for prompt freezer. If the unit is in the Super Freezing state when the power is off, the freezing temperature will be set to “-21°C” after the power is recovered. • When the refrigerator compartment door, multi-use compartment drawer or \ freezer upper drawer is left open or not closed completely for more than 1 minute, it sounds 3 times every 30 seconds. If the doors are not closed properly after 6 minutes, the alarm stops. • If the warning sound remains after the refrigerator door, multi-use comp\ artment drawer or freezer upper drawer is closed, contact your local service \ center. LOCK UNLOCK Self-diagnosis function operates when a problem occurs in the unit. When an error occurs in the unit. Immediately contact the service center without turning the power OFF. If the power is OFF, it will take the engineer longer to find out where the fault occurs. The pressing of any function buttons will not alter the temperature setting when a fault occurs. 19 How to make ice Ice making Fill water in the water tank 1. Take out the water tank when its water level is below the water supply line. * It is recommended to wash the water tank once a week. 2. Unscrew the cap of the water tank in the direction of the OPEN mark as shown in the picture.4. Tighten the cap of the water tank in the direction of the CLOSE mark as shown in the picture. 3. Pour in water until the MAX line is reached. The water level should not exceed the MAX line. * Only fill with drinkable water. water tank 5. Fit the water tank and push it back until a “click” sound is heard. * Water can not be supplied properly if the water tank is not in right position. OPEN

Turn the switch of the ice maker to ON to start ice making. • If you want to speed up the ice making, adjust the freezer temperature to “-26°C(SUPER)”; • When the ice bin is full of ice, the ice maker stops making ice automati\ cally; • If you don’t need to make ice, turn the ice maker switch to (OFF). If you want to make ice again, turn the switch to (ON); • To fill up the ice bin, the ice maker need to make ice for 10 times (8 pieces at a time), which takes approximately one day but may differ \ depending on certain conditions such as how often and how long the doors are opened; • A Liter of water is adequate for 8 times of automatic ice making. Cautions onice making • If the unit is used for the first time or has not been used for a long period of time, be sure to clean it before making ice and do not eat the first ba\ tch of ice. • Do not use other drinks (barley tea, juice etc.) to make ice, otherwise it may cause a problem. 7. When the ice bin is full, the ice comes in touch with the sensing lever and the ice maker stops making ice automatically. 8. Remove the ice bin by pulling it out gently. When replace the ice bin after ice is removed, make sure it is fixed securely. Sensing lever
21 Refrigerator compartment BasketIn order to store tall foods, move the door shelves to change the height\ between the shelves. General ShelfIn order to store tall foods, move the shelves to change the height between them. Remove the shelf by lifting it upwards, and then install it at desired position. Lift the inside of the shelf and pull it out to remove the shelf. Install the removed shelf at desired position. Folder Shelf (optional) Rotating Plate The door can not be closed when the rotating plate is in this position. The door can be closed when the rotating plate is in this position. The door can not be closed when the rotating plate is in the raised posi\ tion. It must be put back to its original position to close the door. In order to store tall foods, lift the front of the folder shelf and pus\ h it in to make it overlap with the inner shelf. NoteRemove the items on the shelf before moving it. NoteTo prevent dew drops form, choose rotating plates equipped with heater. \ It is normal for rotating plate to generate heat and this does not have \ effect on the foods.

Therefore, always check the temperature setting before store food. TYPE-1 TYPE-2 Adjust the position of the small drawers according to the size of the fo\ od. According to the type of the foods which need to be stored in the multi-\ use compartment, place them separately in 2 drawers. The sliding tray can slide freely to avoid the inconvenience of accessing the foods placed at the rear side of the shelf.
