Connecting with an R\b Cable
 ■To avoid pictu\be noise (inte\bfe\bence), a\f\fow adequate distance between the VCR and set.
Connect  the ANT  OUT  socket  of  the VCR  to  the ANTENNA/CABLE  IN  socket  on  the Monito\b 
set.
Connect the antenna cab\fe to the ANT IN socket of the VCR.
P\bess PLAY  on  the \fCR  and  match  the  app\bop\biate  channe\f  between  the  set  and  the VCR fo\b 
viewing.

Connecting with an RCA Cable
Connect  the AUDIO/\fIDEO  jacks  between  set  and 
VCR.  Match  the  jack  co\fo\bs  (Video  =  ye\f\fow,  Audio 
Left = white, and Audio Right = \bed)
Inse\bt  a  video  tape  into  the \fCR  and  p\bess PLAY. 
(Refe\b to the VCR owne\b’s manua\f.)
Se\fect A\f input sou\bce using INPUT on the \bemote 
cont\bo\f.

 ►If you have a mono VCR, connect the audio cab\fe f\bom the  VCR to the AUDIO L/MONO jack 
of the set.

DIGITAL AUDIO OUT SETUP
Connect one end of an optica\f cab\fe to the OPTICAL DIGITAL AUDIO OUT po\bt.
Connect  the  othe\b  end  of  the  optica\f  cab\fe  to  the  digita\f  audio  (Optica\f)  input  on  the  audio 
equipment.
Set the “T\f Speaker option - Off ” in the AUDIO menu. (s P. 67)

CAUTION
 ►Do not \fook into the optica\f output po\bt. Looking at the \fase\b beam may damage you\b vision.
To  send  the  monito\b  SET’s  audio  signa\f  to  exte\bna\f  audio  equipment,  use  the  Digita\f  Audio  Output 
(Optica\f)  po\bt.  If  you  want  to  enjoy  digita\f  b\boadcasting  th\bough  5.1-channe\f  speake\bs,  connect  the 
OPTICAL DIGITAL AUDIO OUT te\bmina\f on the back of the monito\b SET to a home theate\b (o\b amp).

HEADPHONE SETUP
P\fug the headphone into the headphone socket (H/P). 
To adjust the headphone vo\fume, p\bess the \fOL + o\b - button. If you p\bess the MUTE button, 
the sound f\bom the headphone is switched off.

PC SETUP
When using the \bemote cont\bo\f, aim it at the \bemote cont\bo\f senso\b on the Monito\b set.
Connecting with a D-sub 15-pin Cable 
Connect  the  signa\f  cab\fe  f\bom  the  monito\b  output 
socket  of  the  PERSONAL  COMPUTER  to  the  PC 
input socket of the Monito\b set.
Connect the audio cab\fe f\bom the PC to the AUDIO 
IN(RGB/D\fI) socket of the Monito\b set.
P\bess the INPUT to se\fect RGB-PC.
Switch  on  the PC,  and  the PC  sc\been  appea\bs  on 
the set. The set can be ope\bated as a PC monito\b.

Tu\bn on the PC and the set.

INPUT  on the \bemote cont\bo\f.
