Lenovo B8080 Removing and replacing an FRU This section presents exploded figures wi th the instructions to indicate how to remove and replace the FRU. Make sure to observe the following general rules: 1. Do not attempt to service any comput er unless you have been trained and certified. An untrai ned person runs the risk of damaging parts. 2. Separate the top right corner of the re ar cover from the main body of the tablet using a suction tool as shown in the figure below. Figure 1-3. Lenovo B8080 CAUTION: Handle with care! The rear cover or its locks can be damaged! Do not try to lift the rear cover off the ta blet when it is tightly locked at some places. Use the suction tool to unlock these places first. 6. Slowly remove the rear cover. Figure 1-6. The removed rear cover 31

Disconnect the power supply to the tabl et by detaching the battery FPC from its connector on the main board using a guitar pick. Figure 2-1. Disconnecting the power supply of the tablet 2.
