Before getting started with Mobile Broadband, you first need to choose a 
mobile network operator and make sure you are in the coverage area of the

Inserting the SIM card
To  i n s e r t  t h e  S I M  c a r d :
1Turn off the computer; then disconnect the AC adapter and all cables 
from the computer.
2Close the computer display and turn it over.
3Remove the battery.
4Open the SIM card slot cover.
5Insert the SIM card in the card slot until it clicks into place as shown in 
the illustration.
6Close the SIM card slot cover.
7Turn the computer over again, and reconnect the cables.
