Lamps on reminder
If the lamps are left on after the starter switch is 
turned off, a warning chime will sound when the 
drivers door is opened. The chime will cease as 
soon as the lamps are switched off or when the

Daytime running lamps*
If Daytime running lamps is enabled, when the 
main lighting switch is turned off (position 1),

when the fog lamps are switched on).
The fog lamps can be operated ONLY when the 
starter switch is at position II and the side or 
headlamps are also switched on. The fog lamps 
extinguish automatically when the side lamps 
or the starter switch is turned off and need to be 
reselected when the starter switch is turned

Bi-Xenon lamp units operate at a high 
temperature. If they have recently been in 
use, allow sufficient time for them to cool 
down before touching them.
Used xenon lamp units contain mercury, 
which is hazardous and can be injurious to 
health.
The xenon system generates up to 28,000 
volts and contact with this voltage could lead 
to a fatality. Ensure that headlamps are

OPERATING
The wipers and washers will only operate when 
the starter switch is turned to position I or II.
Note: If the wiper blades have stuck to the 
glass, an electronic cut-out may temporarily 
prevent the wiper motor from operating. If this 
is the case, switch the wipers off, wait for 3 
minutes (or turn the starter switch off and then 
on again), free them from the obstruction and 
then switch on again.
