Introduction 6 VEHICLE IDENTIFICATION NUMBER (VIN) If you need to communicate with a Land Rover dealer, you may be asked to quote the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN). The VIN and other information concerning your vehicle can be found on the certification label affixed to the lock face of the front left-hand door, where shown (this VIN should match the VIN recorded in the Passport to Service book).
