In reasonable, temperate climate operation, renew the belt every 120,000 km (72,000 miles) or every 6 years flexible hoses should be renewed. All working surfaces of the master cylinder and caliper cylinders should be examined and renewed whichever occurs earlier (Tdi) or 160,000 km (96,000 miles) (MPi). In conditions such as work in dusty atmospheres, high ambient temperatures and where necessary. desert and tropical zones, renew belt every 60,000 km (36,000 miles) or every three years (Tdi) 80,000 km (48,000 miles) or every 4 years (MPi).ABS vehicles only - renew hydraulic brake fluid and flexible hoses, examine the working surfaces of the caliper cylinders and renew the whichever occurs earlier.seals or cylinders where necessary. ABS vehicles used extensively in arduous/off road conditions - check the rear road speed sensor OIL CHANGE 300 Tdi ENGINES: If the vehicle is operated on fuel with high sulphur content (over 1%) the oil change interval must not exceed for abrasive wear at 1,00 km (1,000 miles) intervals 5,000 km (3,000 miles)Air suspension vehicles used extensively in arduous/off road conditions will require the compressor inlet filter to be replaced at more ANTIFREEZE - ALL MODELS: At two yearly intervals or at the onset of the second winter, the cooling system must be drained, flushed and refilled regular intervals. with the required water and antifreeze solution.When the vehicle is used in dusty or field conditions, frequent attention to the air cleaner is required.
