WARNING The GOLD programmer fob is unique to your vehicle and must not be lost or damaged; it CANNOT be replaced! •DO NOT use the GOLD programmer fob to re-mobilise the engine on a regular basis. •Keep the GOLD programmer fob in a safe place, where it cannot be lost or stolen. Starting the engine 1.Hold one of the green fobs close to the centre of the switch panel (between cigar lighter and rear screen wiper switch) - see illustration - until two beeps sound. 2.Once the beeps have sounded, remove the fob and start the engine (within 15 seconds) in the normal way. NOTE: If engine starting is delayed for more than 15 seconds, the engine immobiliser will give a single beep sound and automatically re-activate immobilisation. The fob will have to be used to re-start the process of deactivation. 3 NOTE: If the engine stalls, it may be restarted without re-presenting the fob, provided the starter switch is not turned off. Similarly, on vehicles where the starter switch MUST be turned off before a restart can be accomplished, the fob will not have to be re-presented provided the starter does not remain in the OFF position for more than 5 seconds. Programming key fobs New or additional fobs can be programmed by your Land Rover dealer using the GOLD programmer fob. Keep this key fob in a safe place as your dealer will need it should you require additional or replacement fobs. NOTE: When programming new or additional fobs, all existing fobs should be reprogrammed at the same time.
