L 12 FIT FUEL LIFT PUMP 2.25 LITRE PETROL AND DIESEL ENGINE If the fuel lift was separatcd from the side cover, fit the pump to the cover first using a new joint washcr and evenly tighten the retaining nuts. Place a new cover plate joint washer in position and fit the cover and pump assembly to the cylinder block. Ensure that the pump actuating lever ridcs on top of the camshaft.
