Using the remote controlThe remote uses two (2) provided AAA batteries. They are easily installed 
by sliding the cover off the remote’s back, aligning the + and - ends of the 
batteries, sliding them into place, and then replacing the cover.
To operate, point the remote at the projection screen or at the projector (not 
at the video device or computer). The range of optimum operation is 0 to 
30 feet (9.14m).
Press the remote’s Menu button to open the projector ’s menu system. Use 
the arrow buttons...

Using the audio To use the projector ’s speaker, connect your source to the Audio In connec-
tor on the projector.
To adjust the volume, press the Vo l u m e buttons on the keypad.
Troubleshooting Audio
If you aren’t hearing the audio, check the following:
 Make sure the optional audio cable is connected. 
Vi si t www.infocus.com\accessories to view optional cables.
 Make sure the volume is turned up enough. Press the Vo l u m e  button 
on the keypad.
 Make sure the correct source is active.

Optimizing computer imagesAfter your computer is connected properly and the computer ’s image is on 
the screen, you can optimize the image using the onscreen menus. For gen-
eral information on using the menus, see page 31.
 Adjust the Keystone, Contrast, or Brightness in the Picture menu 
(page 32). 
 Change the Aspect Ratio. Choose the option that best fits your input 
source (page 32).
 Adjust the Color Temperature in the Advanced menu (page 34).
