Don’t Look Into The Lens! Be extremely careful not to look directly into the lens when the projector is on. The bright light c an harm your eyes. Be especially careful to keep children from lo o kin g in to the le ns . Don’ t Di sass embl e Do not open the projector’s case! Doing so exposes you to an electric shock haz- ard. Except for the projection lamp, there are no user-serviceable parts. All service must be performed by an In Focus Systems Authorized Service Prov ider. Avoid Hot Surfaces The rear of the projector becomes very h ot during operat ion. A void touching the exhaust grill on the lamp door. Allow the projector to cool for at least 45 minutes before opening the lamp door to replace the lamp. The inside of the lamp housing can be ver y hot. Use ex treme care. Alt hough ot her cords might look the same, they have not been safety-tested with the 610 or 620. Never use the power c ord if it’s damaged or frayed. When you disconnect the projec tor, alw ays r emove the pow er cord from th e elect rical outlet f ir st, then f rom the pr o- je cto r . Don’t De feat The Purpose Of The Grounding Plug The projector is gr ounded t hrough the groundin g con ductor on t he power cord. To avoid elec tric shock, plug the power cord into a properly wired receptacle. Avoid Liquid Spills Don’t set drinks on top of the projector. Spilled liquids can flow inside causing damage. Don’t Block Ventilation Openings in the case provide ventilation to protect the projector from overheat- ing. Keep loose papers and other objects away from the bottom, top and side grills.
