30 Source: •Powe r-up Source : determines which source the projector checks first for active video during power-up. • Se arch Screen : allows you to display a blank screen instead of the default screen at startup when no source is de tected. Options include the factory logo screen, a custom Snapshot, or a blue, black or white screen. • Auto S ource : When this feature is On, the projector automatically finds the active source, checking the selected Power-up Source first. When this feature is Off, the projector defaults to th e source selected in Power-up Source. To display another source, you must manua lly select one by pressing the Source button on the remote or keypad. Then naviga te to the desired source icon and press the Select button. • VGA : toggles between On and Off. When On is selected, VGA will be included in the Auto Search function. • HDM I : toggles between On and Off. Wh en On is selected, HDMI will be included in the Auto Search function. • Composite : toggles between On and Of f. When On is sele cted, Composite will be included in the Auto Search function. Timer: • Auto Off T ime: automatically turns the projector off after no signals are detected for a preset number of minutes. If an active signal is received before the projector powers down, the image will be displayed. Advanced > Setup > Source menu Advanced > Setup > Timer menu
31 Advanced > Status/Service menu Source Info: a read-only display of current source settings. Projector Info : a read-only display of current projector settings. Reset Lamp Hours : resets the lamp hours used counter in the Projector Info menu to zero. Do this only after changing the lamp. Factory Reset: restores all settings to their default. Service Code : only used by authorized service personnel. Advanced > Status/Service menu
32 Multimedia EZ Suite Menu When a USB source is inserted into the projector (USB-A or USB-B), press the Source key and use the arrow keys to highlight the USB icon. Press the Select key to select the multimedia source. The Multimedia EZ Suite menu displays. Use the arrow keys to navigate up and dow n, left and rig ht. The right-hand menus change based on the left-hand menu selecti on. To select a menu option, press the right-hand arrow. To return to the previous EZ Suite menu (and ultimately the EZ Suite main menu), press the Men u key on the remote or keypad. Supported formats are: Audio : MP 3/WMA/AAC/OGG Video: Xvid /MPEG4/AVC/AVI/H.264/WMV(VC-1)/M-JPEG Photo :JPEG/BMP up to 64 megapixels Office Reader : DOC/DOCX/XLS/XLS X/PPT/PPTX PDF Reader : PDF EZ Media Viewing Photos 1 To view photos and othe r images, navigate to EZ Media and press the right arrow or Select key. 2Using the up and down arrows, highlight Internal Memory if your images are stored on the projector or USB if you are using a storage device attached to the USB-A connector. 3Press the right arrow or Select key. 4Highlight Photo and press the right arrow or Select key. The Photo thumbnail view displays. 5Press the arrow keys to hi ghlight the desired image. 6Press the Select key to open the image. 7With the image open, use the right (or down) arrow to display the next image. Use the left (or up) arrow to display the previous image. 8When done, press the Select key to return to the thumbnail view. 9Press the Menu key again to return to the previous EZ Suite menu.
33 To display a control bar to control the photos: 1Press the Menu key on the remote or keypad. 2Use the left and right arrows to highlight a control bar function. 3Press the Select key to activate the highlighted function. Rotate Delete Zoom Info Save Return Return Fast Forward Rewind Rotate: Press the Select key or down arrow to activat e the Rotate feature (the menu icon turns red). Then press the Select key or the arrow keys to rotate the image (options = 0 (normal), 90°, 180°, and 270° degrees). Press the Menu key to exit the Rotate feature. Zoom: Pres s the Select key or down arrow to activa te the Zoom feature (the menu icon turns red). Then press the Select key to zoom the image (0 = normal/no zoom; 1-4 different zoom ratio s). When the zoom is between 1 and 4, use the arrows to pan the image. Press the Menu key to exit the zoom feature. Previous: Pre ss the Select key or down arrow to display the previous image. Next: Pres s the Select key or down arrow to display the next image. Start Slideshow: Pre ss the Select key or down arrow to start the Slideshow. Slideshow must be enable d in Photo Settings menu. Delete: Press the Select key or down arrow to display the “Sure Delete?” dialog box. Use the up and down arrows to highlight Ye s or No as appropriate, and press the Select key to activate the choice. Choosing Ye s deletes the image from the projector’s internal memory or from the multimedia source. Save: Pre ss the Select key or down arrow to display the “Sure Copy?” dialog box. Use the up and down arrows to highlight Ye s or No as appropriate, and press the Select key to activate the choice. Choosing Ye s saves the image to the projector’s internal memory. Total size is 3.8GB. Photo Info: Pre ss the Select key or down arrow to display the image name and size. Return: Pre ss the Select key or down arrow to return to the thumbnail view. Note: Y ou can adjust whether imag e files display as full screen or original and in slideshow mode or not, by adusting the Photo Settings in the Settings menu.

35 8 To open the video control bar while the movie is playing, press the Menu key. Pause Rewind PlayFast Forward To pause/play the audiovisual file: Press the Select key to pause and play the audiovisual file. To rewind the audiovisual file: Press the left arrow key to rewind the video and toggle through the different rewind speeds. Press the Select key to stop rewinding. Options include: X1, X2, X4, and X8. To fast forward the audiovisual file: Press the right arrow key to fast forward the video and toggle through the different forward speeds. Press the Select key to stop forwarding. Options include: X1, X2, X4 and X8. To adjust volume: P ress the Vo l u m e U p and Down keys on the remote to increase and decrease the volume. 9To stop the video and return to the video list screen press the Select key. 10Press the Menu key to return to the EZ Suite menu. Note: Y ou can adjust whether the audiovisual files play once or if they play continuously, and whether the a udiovisual file aspect ratio displays as full screen or original, by adjusting the Video Settings in the Settings menu.

37 Listening to Audio Files 1 To listen to audio files, navigate to EZ Media and press the right arrow or the Select key. 2Using the up and down arrows, highlight Internal Memory (if your images are stored on the projector) or USB (if you are using a USB-A source). 3Press the right arrow or the Select key. 4Once your source is selected, highlight Audio and press the right arrow key. The list of audio files displays. 5To sort the audio files, press the left arrow key. Sort by Name and Sort by Time options are displayed. Press the up or down arrow keys to highlight the desired sorting option and press the Select key to sort the audio files. 6Press the up and down arrow keys to highlight the desired audio file. 7Press the right arrow or the Select key to open the file. 8To control the audio file Pause Previous PlayFast Forward Next Rewind : • T o pause/start the audiovisual file: Press the Select key to pause and start the audio file. • T o rewind the audio file: Press the left arrow key to rewind the audio. Press again to return to normal speed. • T o fast forward the audio file: Press the right arrow key to fast forward the audio. Press again to return to normal speed. • T o adjust volume: Press the Vo l u m e U p and Down keys on the remote to increase and decrease the volume. • T o go to the previous audio file: Press left arrow key twice within one second.
38 •To go to the next audio file: Press the right arrow key twice within one second. 9Press the Menu key to close the audi o file and return to the audio file list. To zoom in on the page : pr ess the Keystone + key. To zoom out on the page : press the Keystone – key. 9Or you can press the Menu key to open the Office Viewer toolbar. Then use the right and left arrows to highlight the desired function and press the Select key. Note: The file name displays in the upper left corner of the Office Viewer toolbar. The current page number and number of pa ges appears on the upper right corner.
