Suspend ModeIn suspend mode, the following occurs: vThe LCD is powered off. vThe hard disk drive is powered off. vThe CPU stops. Events that cause the computer to enter suspend mode: vSuspend mode requested by the Fn key (Fn+F4). vThe Lid is closed. vThe specified time has elapsed. vBattery low occurs and hibernation conditions are insufficient. The computer exits hibernation mode and resumes operation when the power-on switch is pressed. When power is turned on, the hibernation file in the boot record on the hard disk drive is read and the system status is restored from the hard disk drive. The power switch must be pressed to cause the computer to resume operation from hibernation mode.
