English – 21 MAINTENANCE Starter Checking the starter cord •Loosen the screws that hold the starter against the crankcase and remove the starter. • Pull the cord out about 30 cm and lift it into the cut-out in the periphery of the starter pulley. When the cord is intact: Release the spring tension by letting the pulley rotate slowly backwards.
