The monitor will go to sleep automatically when it stops receiving input, so putting your computer on a timer is one way to put the monitor on a timer. Some models also have their own sleep timers. The power LED on the front panel indicates the monitors state: blue under full power, amber in sleep mode, and blinking amber on a sleep timer. NOTE:If your monitor has a master power switch (located on the rear of the monitor), putting the switch in the Off position will yield the lowest power state for the monitor when not in use. 36 Appendix A Technical Specifications
