Yourcomputercanoperateoneitherbatterypowerorexternalpower.WhenthecomputerisrunningonbatterypoweronlyandanACpowersourceisnotavailabletochargethebattery,itisimportanttomonitor
andconservethebatterycharge.
Initiating and exiting Sleep and Hibernation 
CAUTION:Severalwell-knownvulnerabilitiesexistwhenacomputerisintheSleepstate.Topreventan
unauthorizeduserfromaccessingdataonyourcomputer,evenencrypteddata,HPrecommendsthatyou alwaysinitiateHibernationinsteadofSleepanytimethecomputerwillbeoutofyourphysicalpossession. Thispracticeisparticularlyimportantwhenyoutravelwithyourcomputer.

2.SelectMy PC,selecttheDiagnostics and toolstab,andthenselectHP Battery Check.IfHPBattery
Checkindicatesthatyourbatteryshouldbereplaced,contactsupport.
