Before removing the WLAN module, follow these steps:
1.Shut down the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the
computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system.
2.Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer.
3.Disconnect the power from the computer by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet and
then unplugging the AC adapter from the computer.
4.Remove the battery (see

3.Lift the left side of the TV tuner module compartment cover (2), swing the cover up and to the right,
and remove the cover. The TV tuner module compartment cover is included in the Plastics Kit, spare
part number 448171-001.
4.Disconnect the TV tuner cable (1) from the TV tuner module.
5.Remove the two Phillips PM2.5×5.0 screws (2) that secure the TV tuner module to the system board.

6.Slide the keyboard (2) forward until the tabs on the rear edge of the keyboard disengage from the
slots in the top cover.
7.Rotate the rear edge of the keyboard (3) forward until it rests upside down on the palm rest.
8.Release the zero insertion force (ZIF) connector (1) to which the keyboard cable is attached and
disconnect the keyboard cable (2).
9.Remove the keyboard.
