Slide the battery release latch 1 to release the battery. 3. Lift the front edge of the battery pack 2 until it rests at an angle. 4. Remove the battery 3 from the computer. Install the battery by inserting it into the battery bay until you hear a click.

Remove the hard drive 3 from the hard drive bay. 7. If it is necessary to replace the hard drive bracket, follow these steps: a. Remove the two Phillips PM3.0×4.0 screws 1 from each side of the hard drive. b. Lift the bracket 2 straight up to remove it from the hard drive. Reverse this procedure to reassemble and install the hard drive.
