    to start a DVD in the optical drive.

    software is not installed, the computer 
    starts in Windows.
    ■In hibernation, opens QuickPlay to start 
    a DVD in the optical drive. If the 
    QuickPlay software is not installed, the 
    computer resumes from hibernation.

    Media buttonIf QuickPlay is installed, opens QuickPlay to 
    start a CD in the optical drive or a music file 
    on the hard drive.
    If QuickPlay is not installed and the

    start a CD in the optical drive or a music 
    file on the hard drive.
    ■Off or in hibernation, no function.
