4.Hold the print cartridge with the copper contacts facing the printer, and then slide the print cartridge into the cradle. NOTE:Depending on the cartridge size, they may not align with each other. If you have trouble inserting the print cartridge after lifting the carriage latch, verify the printer is on and wait a few seconds for the carriage to disengage before inserting the print cartridge. 5.Push down on the print cartridge latch until it snaps closed. For Windows You can align the print cartridges from the Toolbox or the printer driver. 1.Load plain paper into the input tray (see Loading media in the input tray on page 36.) 2.Open the Toolbox from the Printer Properties settings. Selecting print media Your printer is designed to print on a variety of media types (such as photo paper, plain paper, envelopes, and transparencies) and sizes. The printer works well with most office paper types, and provides the best results on paper that accepts ink well.
