Using the Accessory Rails The monitor features accessory rails on the rear that may be used to mount optional devices, such as the HP speaker bar, to the LCD monitor. 4 Operating the Monitor Software and Utilities The CD that comes with the monitor contains files you can install on the computer: ● an .INF (Information) file ● an .ICM (Image Color Matching) file ● auto-adjustment pattern utility ● additional software for the monitor model PDF Complete is supplied on this CD and can be installed from the menu. Installing the .INF and .ICM Files After you determine that you need to update, you can install the .INF and .ICM files from the CD or download them. Using the Auto-Adjustment Function You can optimize the screen performance for the VGA (analog) input by using the -/Auto button on the monitor and the auto-adjust ment pattern software utility on the CD provided. Do not use this procedure if the mo nitor is using a DVI-D, HDMI, or DisplayPort input.
