Handling precautions These precautions are recommended to avoid damage to your printer and its components. Power supply ●Use the power supply voltage specified on the nameplate. ● Check the printer electrical outlet for proper polari ty and grounding before connecting printer. Failure to do so may result in fire and electric shock hazards. ● Be sure the printer is well-grounded. Failure to ground the printer may result in electrical shock, fire, and susceptibility to electromagnetic interference. ●...

●Use only an HP Waste Ink Bottle. The bottle must be installed according to instructions or waste ink may overflow. An HP Waste Ink Bottle must always be installed before turning the printer ON. Automatic and manual service cycles produce waste ink that must be contained in an HP Waste Ink Bottle. Do not remove the cap from its tether to the HP Waste Ink Bottle.
