Print-media specifications For optimum results, HP recommends using HP media that is designed for HP Color LaserJet printers. Use media with a weight between 75 g/m2 to 120 g/m2 (20 to 32 lb bond). Although the printer supports media with weights between 60 g/m2 to 176 g/m2 (16 to 47 lb bond), using li ghter or heavier media could impact the paper-jam rate and the optimal print-quality performance.
