HOW YOUR AIR PURIFIER WORKS
This model air purifier incorporates a 3-stage cleaning
system to help clean the air that passes through the filter 
in the unit (Fig. 1).

• Select a firm, level and flat location. For proper airflow, locate the unit at least 3 feet (1 M) from any
wall or furniture.

OPERATION
•  Ensure the air purifier is plugged into a working electrical outlet.
•  Press the power button (  ) once. The unit will start at medium speed for a
few seconds and then automatically change to low speed (Fig. 2).
• Press the power button again to select a different cleaning level.
It is recommended you run your air purifier 24 hours a day to ensure
continuous cleaning. Portable air purifiers are more effective in rooms where

CLEANING THE IFD™FILTERS
To  
cleanthe IFD™filter:
• After removing the IFD™Filter from the air purifier, lay the filter on a flat surface
and run a vacuum cleaner with a nozzle or brush attachment along the filter to
pick-up tiny particles. Repeat on both sides (Fig. 6).
If your IFD
™filter appears to have dirt that has not been removed by tapping and
vacuuming, please follow the steps below to wash the IFD™filter.
• Turn the power off and unplug the air purifier.

How often is cleaning required?
About every four weeks depending on the air quality of the room. You should clean your IFD™filter
regularly by gently running a vacuum attachment over it. We recommend washing the IFD™filter when
needed but not more than once a month.

•  S’assurer que le purificateur d’air est branché dans une prise de courant fonctionnelle.
•  Appuyer une fois sur le bouton d’alimentation (  ) : Losquon le met en marche, lappareil
fonctionne à vitesse moyenne pendant quelques secondes, puis il passe automatiquement à
vitesse basse (Fig. 2).

Des filtres de type IFD
MCsont fournis avec le purificateur dair : ils se trouvent à
lintérieur de lappareil.
• Mettre le purificateur d’air hors tension et le débrancher. Tout en appuyant sur
les deux encoches le long de la grille arrière, tirer la grille vers soi pour la retirer
(Fig. 5). Pousser légèrement sur le bord du cadre du filtre et tirer vers l’avant.
