SETTINGS
The  Settings  menu allows you to adjust these camera settings:
Video Resolution
Photo Resolution
Time Lapse Inter val
Burst Photo Rate

TIME LAPSE
Time Lapse  mode captures a series of photos at inter vals of 0.5, 1, 2, 
5, 10, 30 or 60 seconds.
To capture a Time Lapse  series, verif y that the camera is in Time

To Enter the Settings Menu: 1.  Verif y that the camera is in the Settings  mode. If the Settings icon

 ] does not appear on your camera status screen, press the Power/Mode  button [

You can change Resolution, fps (frames per second) and FOV ( field of 
view) in the Video  mode menu.

PHOTO RESOLUTION MODES
The HERO3+ Silver captures photos at 10MP, 7MP and 5MP resolutions.   
Any change to photo resolution affects photos captured in Photo , 
Burst  and Time Lapse  modes.

Burst  mode captures a series of photos when the Shutter/Select

WIRELESS CONTROLS
The camera’s built-in wireless allows your HERO3+ Silver to connect 
to the remote (sold separately) or smar tphone/tablet via the GoPro 
App. When wireless is on, a wireless status icon appears on the camera   
status screen and the blue wireless lights blink intermittently. When 
you turn off wireless, the wireless status lights flash seven times.

/ Capture Settings
You can customize the way your HERO3+ Silver captures video and 
photos in the Capture Settings menu, with options for Upside Down, 
Spot Meter and Looping Video.
UPSIDE DOWN
If you mount your camera upside down, you might have to rotate the 
files during editing. This setting eliminates the need to flip your videos 
or photos after recording.

Capture SettingDescription
60 min video If you do not stop recording to save the video, 
camera records for 60 minutes, and then 
over writes the previous 60 minutes of video.

camera records for 120 minutes, and then 
over writes the previous 120 minutes of video.

DEFAULT MODE AT POWER UP
You can set the camera’s default mode at power up to any of the 
following modes:
Video (default)
Photo
Burst
Time Lapse
ONE BUTTON
With One Button mode selected, the camera automatically begins 
recording when powered on. 
OFF (default)
ON
Note: One Button mode is disabled when the camera is connected to the Remote (sold separately) or 
the GoPro App.
