    PREPARING THE FUEL
This machine is fitted with a two-stroke enginewhich requires a mixture of petrol and lubricatingoil.
Using petrol alone will dam-age the motor and will cause for invalidation ofthe warranty.
Only use quality fuels andoils to maintain high performance and guaranteethe duration of the mechanical parts over time.
    • Petrol characteristics
Only use unleaded petrol with a fuel grade of atleast 90 N.O.
Unleaded petrol tends tocreate deposits in the container if preserved formore than 2 months. Always use fresh petrol!
    • Oil characteristics
Only use top quality synthetic oil specifically fortwo-stroke engines.
Your dealer can provide you with oils which havebeen specifically developed for this type ofengine, and which are capable of guaranteeing ahigh level of protection.
The use of these oils makes it possible to pre-pare a 2% mixture, consisting in 1 part oil to 50parts petrol.

    CHAIN LUBRICANT
Only use special oil for chainsaws or adhesive oil for chain saws. Do not useoil containing impurities so as not to block the oilfilter and to prevent irreparable damage to the oilpump.
The special oil for lubricat-ing the chain is biodegradable. Use of a mineraloil or engine oil causes serious damage to theenvironment.
It is essential that you use good quality oil tolubricate the cutting parts effectively. Used orpoor quality oil does not guarantee good lubri-cation and reduces the duration of the chain andbar.
It is always worth topping up the oil tank com-pletely (using a funnel) every time you refuel.Since the oil tank capacity is enough to guaran-tee that the fuel runs out first, you will avoid therisk of operating the machine without lubricant.
