5 How to use: This product is for household use only. GETTING STARTED • Remove all packing material and any stickers. • Remove and save literature. • Remove the plastic band around the power plug using scissors • Wash drip tray as instructed in CARE AND CLEANING section of this manual. • Wipe grill plates with a damp cloth or sponge to remove any dust. 6 WAFFLE PLATES (See illustration A3) Important: When using these plates, make sure bottom plate is in a compl\ etely horizontal position (see illustration D, pg 5). 1. When cooking waffles, securely attach top and bottom waffle plates u\ sing release handles on sides of plates. 2. Set temperature at 425º F and allow grill to preheat for at least 5 m\ inutes. 3. SEARING DIRECTIONS: Pressing “SEAR” will illuminate the red LED and automatically set \ the highest temperature (500º F) for a duration of time. 1.
