 Using Your Remote, cont .
Master Volume Feature
T\fe Master Volume Feature allows you to select a 
single device (TV or audio receiver) t\fat t\fe volume 
control always controls. For example, \ct\fe remote can 
be in TV mode w\file t\fe volume buttons contr\col t\fe 
volume on your audio receiver instead of your TV.  Enabling the Master Volume Feature
1. Press and \fold t\fe SETUP button until 
t\fe red indicator stays o\cn 
(approximately 4 seconds) \cand t\fen 
release t\fe button.
2.  Press and release desired device 
button (TV, DVD, S\bT, \bUX) for t\fe 
device you wis\f to setup to\c control 
t\fe volume.
3.  Press and release t\fe MUTE button.
4.  Press and release t\fe VOL      button. 
T\fe red indicator will bl\cink twice and 
t\fen go off. 
To test t\fe feature put t\fe remote in 
anot\fer mode suc\f as t\fe TV mode if you 
programmed t\fe audio r\ceceiver to be t\fe 
Master Volume Device. Point t\fe remote 
at t\fe audio receiver, press and \fold 
eit\fer t\fe VOL      or t\fe VOL     button. If 
t\fe audio receiver volume c\fanges t\fen 
t\fe remote is programmed correctly. If 
t\fe TV volume c\fanges and not t\fe audio 
receiver, you will \fave to repeat t\fe steps 
above and test again.
Disabling the Master Volume Feature
1.  Press and \fold t\fe SETUP button until 
t\fe red indicator stays o\cn 
(approximately 4 seconds) \cand t\fen 
release t\fe button.
2.  Press and release t\fe device bu\ctton 
(TV, DVD, S\bT, \bUX) w\fic\f is

4.  Press and release t\fe VOL    button. 
T\fe red indicator lig\ft wi\cll blink twice 
and go off.
Co\fe I\fentification
1.  Press and \fold t\fe SETUP button 
until t\fe red indicator stays o\cn 
(approximately 4 seconds) \cand t\fen 
release t\fe button.
2.  Press and release t\fe desired device 
button (TV, DVD, CBL/S\bT, DVR/\bUX) 
you would like t\fe code for.
3.  Press and release ENTER button.
4.  Press and release t\fe #1 button. 
Count t\fe number of\c times t\fe 
remote lig\ft flas\fes.\c T\fis is t\fe 
number corresponding to t\fe first 
digit of t\fe code. Repeat t\fe process 
by pressing t\fe #2, #3 and #4 
buttons for t\fe remaining digits.
5.  Press and release ENTER button to 
exit t\fis mode.
 
Reset to Factory Settings
1.  Press and \fold t\fe SETUP button 
until t\fe red indicator stays o\cn 
(approximately 4 seconds) \cand t\fen 
release t\fe button.
2.  Press and release t\fe MUTE button.
3.  Press and release t\fe number #0 
button. T\fe red indicator lig\ft wi\cll

Remote \foes not operate your \fevice.
•  Press t\fe device butto\cn of t\fe device you  
want to control.
•   Program t\fe remote wit\f a new co\cde.
•   Install new batter\cies. (You mig\ft \fave to 
reprogram your remote after install\cing new 
batteries.)
•   Remote may not be co\cmpatible wit\f your device.
Remote \foes not operate some features of
 your \fevice.
•   Sometimes a particular code mig\ft op\cerate some 
features but not all. Tr\cy programing remote wit\f a 
new code.
•   Remote may not be a\cble to operate all\c features of 
your device or button\c names mig\ft be diffe\crent 
t\fan your device.
Re\f In\ficator blinks an\f stays\C on after you 
program a pro\fuct co\fe.
•   Remote did not accept \ct\fe code.
•   Try to program t\fe code again\c or try a  
different code.
Remote Co\fe is not available for a comb\Co \fevice 
(e.g. TV/VCR)

Remote buttons are not operating pr\Coperly
•   C\feck to ensure t\fe remote is not in s\fi\cft mode. 
Press and release t\fe SETUP/SHIFT button and 
see if t\fe remote buttons oper\cate properly. If t\fis 
does not \felp, press and release t\fe SHIFT/SETUP 
button again to ex\cit t\fe s\fift mode.

Su control remoto universal necesita dos (2)\c pilas alcalinas 
tamaño AAA (no se \cincluyen).
Para Instalar las P\Cilas1. Presione la pestaña \cy levante la tapa en la\c parte 
posterior del control remoto.
2.  Inserte dos (2) pilas al\ccalinas tamaño AAA, de manera 
que las marcas (+) y (-) de las\c pilas coincidan con \clas 
marcas  (+) y (-) en e\cl interior del compa\crtimiento de las 
pilas. Asegúrese de usar pilas n\cuevas. 
3.  Presione la tapa del \ccompartimiento de las pil\cas en su 
lugar.
NOTA:  Si su control remoto deja de funcionar 
correctamente, reemplace las pilas \cpor otras nuevas. El 
control remoto conservará los códigos que\c \fa programado 
durante un máximo de 10 \cminutos después de retirar las 
pilas.

 Programación \fe su Co\Cntrol Remoto
Su control remoto universal G\b está diseñado \cpara 
controlar múltiples disp\cositivos de audio/video com\co 
televisores, DVD, videograbadoras dig\citales, aparatos de\c 
satélite, cable y a\cudio con un solo con\ctrol remoto. Para 
utilizar este contr\col remoto, tendrá que programarlo para 
que controle los dispositivos de su elección. H\cay dos 
maneras de programar el control remoto: entrada directa 
de códigos y búsqueda\c automática de código\cs. 
 
Entra\fa Directa \fe Có\figos (se \CRecomien\fa)
1. Localice la lista de\c códigos para controles 
remotos que viene e\cn este manual. Bus\cque 
la C\bTEGORÍ\b DE DISPOSITIVOS que desea 
programar (por ejemp\clo TV, DVD, CBL/S\bT, 
DVR/\bUX) y luego encuentre la M\bRC\b 
de dic\fo dispositivo. \bncierre dentro de 
círculos todos los códig\cos de esa marca. 
Por ejemplo: Para un televisor G\b\c, busque 
la sección de códigos\c de televisores, luego 
encierre dentro de círculos todos los 
códigos para televis\cores G\b.
2.  \bncienda manualmente\c el dispositivo que 
desea controlar. 
3.    Mantenga presionado el botón SETUP 
\fasta que el indicado\cr rojo permanezca 
encendido (aproximadamente 4 segun\cdos) 
y luego suelte el \cbotón SETUP.
4.  Presione y suelte el\c botón del dispositi\cvo 
deseado en el control remoto (TV, DVD, 
CBL/S\bT, DVR/\bUX). \bl indicador rojo 
parpadeará una vez y luego permane\ccerá 
encendido.  
5.  Introduzca el primer códi\cgo de 4 dígitos 
que encontró en la lista de cód\cigos 
mediante los botone\cs numéricos en el 
control remoto. Si el código introducido 
es válido, el indicador rojo se apagará. 
Si el código introducido no es válido, el 
indicador rojo parpadeará y pe\crmanecerá 
encendido, permitiéndole int\croducir  
otro código. 
  Nota: Si no presiona ningún botón durante 
10 segundos, el control remoto saldrá 
del modo de configur\cación y tendrá que 
comenzar de nuevo.
