5 Replacing drives www.gateway.com Replacing the diskette drive The removable drive pack contains the diskette drive, drive adapter card, and an optical drive. To replace the diskette drive: 1Turn off the computer and prepare it by following the instructions in “Preparing your computer” on page 4. 2Remove the two retaining screws located on either side of the Microsoft Certificate of Authenticity label on the back of your computer.
