19 Connecting the AC adapter www.gateway.com To connect the AC adapter: 1If the battery is not installed, turn your notebook over so the bottom is facing up. -OR- If the battery is installed, go to Step 4. 2Place the battery into the battery bay and press down until it snaps into place. 3Slide the battery lock into the locked position. 4Connect the power cord to the AC adapter.
