Press the selector up ( ), left ( ), right ( ), or down ( ) to highlight items and press [MENU/OK] ( ) to select. The up, left, right, and down buttons also double as the macro, film simulation, white balance, and focus-area selection buttons, respectively, and as function buttons 2 through 5. To prevent accidental operation of the selector and the [Q] button during shooting, press [MENU/OK] until is displayed. The command dial can be used to navigate the menus, to zoom in and out and choose the number of pictures displayed during playback, and to select options in the quick menu display.
