Make sure that the coolant level is between the MIN and MAX marks on the coolant reservoir. If the coolant level is at or below the minimum mark, add coolant immediately. The coolant concentration should be maintained within 48% to 50%, which equates to a freeze point between -30°F (-34°C) and -34°F (-37°C). Note: Coolant expands when it is hot. Refer to your scheduled maintenance information for scheduled intervals for fluid checks and changes. Your transmission does not consume fluid. However, if the transmission slips, shifts slowly or if you notice a sign of leaking fluid, contact an authorized dealer. FUEL FILTER Your vehicle is equipped with a lifetime fuel filter that is integrated with the fuel tank. Regular maintenance or replacement is not needed. If you disconnect or replace the battery and your vehicle has an automatic transmission, transmission must relearn its adaptive strategy. Because of this, the transmission may shift firmly when first driven. This is normal operation while the transmission fully updates its operation to optimum shift feel. WARNINGS Bulbs become hot when in use. Let them cool down before you remove them. Use the correct specification bulb. See Bulb Specification Chart (page 168).
