LOCKING AND UNLOCKING You can use the power door lock control or the remote control to lock and unlock your vehicle. Autolock Feature The autolock feature locks all the doors when: • All doors are closed. • The ignition is on. • You shift into any gear putting your vehicle in motion. • The ignition is on, all the doors are closed and your vehicle has been in motion at a speed greater than 12 mph (20 km/h). ADJUSTING THE STEERING WHEEL WARNING Do not adjust the steering wheel when your vehicle is moving. 1. Pull and hold the steering wheel release lever. 2. WINDSHIELD WIPERS Note: Fully defrost the windshield before switching on the windshield wipers. Note: Make sure the windshield wipers are switched off before entering a car wash. Note: Clean the windshield and wiper blades if they begin to leave streaks or smears. If that doesn't resolve the issue, install new wiper blades. See Changing the Wiper Blades (page 147). GENERAL INFORMATION Condensation in Lamp Assemblies Exterior lamps have vents to accommodate normal changes in air pressure. Condensation can be a natural by-product of this design. When moist air enters the lamp assembly through the vents, there is a possibility that condensation can occur when the temperature is cold. When normal condensation occurs, a fine mist can form on the interior of the lens. The fine mist eventually clears and exits through the vents during normal operation. Clearing time may...

Headlamp Flasher Slightly pull the lever toward you and release it to flash the headlamps. INSTRUMENT LIGHTING DIMMER Note: If you disconnect the battery or it becomes discharged, the dimmer switch will require re-calibration.
