8 NaVI gat Or II O perat ION FLIR makes two versions of the Navigator II: the Static version, which stays pointed in one direction relative to the vessel (usually straight ahead), and the Pan/Tilt version that can look up and down (+/- 45° relative to the horizon), and 360° around. This manual contains operating instructions for both versions. Make sure you use the instructions that apply to your configuration of Navigator II.

9 Operating your Navigator II (S tat Ic version) The static Navigator II is simple to install and operate. (See the Installation Guide for installation procedures.) The system operates on 12 volts DC, outputs standard composite video (NTSC or PAL formats are available), and requires no camera adjustments.
