 MD-Series Overview
System Description
MD-Series is a maritime thermal imaging system for use on most types of 
vessels. The infrared (IR) thermal camera provides night-time imagery, even in 
total darkness, based on temperature differ ences. It provides a clear video image 
even under completely dark conditions beca use it is sensitive to thermal infrared 
energy.

Optionally, the unit can be hung upside down or ball-down and configured to 
invert and revert the video output by selecting the ball-down mode under System 
Settings of the camera on-screen menu  system. Unless otherwise noted, this 
manual assumes an upright (ball-up) installation.
