If you mount the projector to the ceiling, install it within the following angles:
•
Vertically: Any angle in a complete 360 degree circle.
• Horizontally: Within the adjustment range of the rear adjustable feet.
If you project from the ceiling or from the rear, select the correct Projectionsetting and, if necessary,
turn on the Inv Direction Button setting. If you installed the projector at an angle, select the Direction
setting.
Note: Selecting an incorrect Directionsetting may shorten the lamp life....

the size of the projected image. (Conversion figures may have been rounded up or down.) You can also

Connecting to a Computer for HDMI Video and Audio
If your computer has an HDMI port, you can connect it to the projector using an optional HDMI cable.
Note:To connect a Mac that includes only a Thunderbolt port or Mini-DVI port for video output, you need
to obtain an adapter that allows you to connect to the projectors HDMIport. Contact Apple for
compatible adapter options. Older Mac computers (2009 and earlier) may not support audio through the
HDMI port.

2. Connect the other end to the projectors

Note: If you have problems hearing audio through the DisplayPort connection, you can use the Audio3
port instead to play sound. Connect one end of an optional 3.5 mm stereo mini-jack audio cable to the
projectors Audio3port and the other end to your computers audio out port. Then select Audio3for the
DisplayPort Audio Output setting in the Extended menu.

Connecting to a Computer for Sound
If your computer presentation includes sound and you did not connect it to the projectors DisplayPortor
HDMI port, you can still play sound through the projectors speaker system (PowerLite Pro
G6070W/G6170/G6270W/G6470WU/G6570WU/G6770WU). Just connect an optional 3.5 mm stereo
mini-jack audio cable as described here.

Connecting to an HDMI Video Source
If your video source has an HDMI port, you can connect it to the projector using an optional HDMI cable.
The HDMI connection provides the best image quality.
1. Connect the HDMI cable to your video sources HDMI output port.
